Beagles Win 2009 National Cross Country Champs

National Cross Country Champs
Whilst Mo Farah was breaking the 3,000m British record in Birmingham, his Cross Country team mates were battling through the 12k muddy gateway to London's Hampstead Heath, Parliament Hill to win the 2009 National Cross Country Champs.

5th placed Moumin Geele in a time of 00:38:44, Lee Merrien (not pictured above) 13th in 00:39:50, Keith Gerrard 24th in 00:40:34, Dave Mitchinson 38th in 00:41:11, Kairn Stone 47th in 00:41:22 and Samatar Farah 87th in 00:42:25.

Olly Laws who was doing quite well over the first lap, had to withdraw from the race due to a bad fall.
