Ist Southern Women's Match of the Season
Grace Jenkins had a great start to the season in the first Southern Women's match of the season at
Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 25th April, she smashed her  discus personal best by  5 meters with a throw of 37.43. It was a welcome return after 4 years to Jo Hale winning the B discus and 2nd in the A
hammer. There were wins for Ashleigh Williams in the 100m and 200m, Melissa Strevens in the Pole Vault,
Kristie Laybourne in the 800m, Leigh Lennon in the 400m and the senior women's 4x 100m relay.

In the U15 events Kaysia Grant Came 3rd in the 100m and 200m, Chantel Grey also came 3rd in the 100m and 200m and Tanisha Somer came 3rd in the Long Jump .

Final scores West Suffolk 130pts, Ipswich 121pts, Newham and Essex Beagles 71pts and Cambridge 37pts.
