NEB Ladies Win Final Southern Women's Match of the Season
In the last match of the season NEB ladies won their Southern Women's match by 8 points. It was a great team effort as we had struggled all season to put a team together.

The day started with Paula Peaty and Natasha Scarlett wining A & B Hammer with 38.86m & 26.12m. Followed by Melissa Strevens and Kelly Montgomery wining A & B Paul Vault ( which they have done in every Southern Women's for the last 2 years). Melissa also broke the club record for the second time this year with a jump of 2.90m.

Don Lennon brought his girls down from up north which was a great help. Leigh Lennon won the A 200m in 27.0 and the 400m in 57.7. Kristie Leybourne won the B 800m in 2.23.2 and the A 1,500m in 5.03.3. Young Lucy Lennon competed for the first time and came 2nd in the 200m (30.8) and 800m (2.35.9). It was nice to see Asha Phillips back after a long injury, she won the 100m in 12.3s.

Other winners were
Claire Spurway B 100m in 12.5
Rianne Ashitey B 200m in 27.7
Neha Dabi B 400m in 59.4
Charisse Tpang A shot with 10.84m
Emma Nwofor B 75mH in 12.6 and B high jump with 1.40m
Aziza Hill-Williams A high jump with 1.45m
Hannah Scammell A discus with 22 69m a PB

The match ended with a great wining display by the 400m relay girls (Leigh Lennon, Ashleigh Williams,Kristie Leybourne and Neha Dabhi).

Team Manager, Brian Strevens said "I'd like to thank every one who competed and officiated this season".
