Medals Galore at SEAA Champs

Tommy Bower U17M and Eleanor Bounds U17W (pictured), both won Silver medals in their 1500m events on Sunday 17th January. In addition to the Silver medals both Tommy and Eleanor won Bronze medals on day 1 of the SEAA Champs in the 800m the previous Sunday (10th January), Nakole Iddirisu also took Bronze in the 800m his first event as an U20M.

Victoria Ohuruogu another first year U20W athlete won Bronze in the 200m on Saturday 16th January but only managed 4th place in a well contested 60m final. It was a good day for medals as newcomer Jasmine Collard-Peters won Silver in the U15G 200m. Senior Men newcomer Robbie Grabarz also Silver in the High Jump, whilst JJ. Jegede took Bronze in the Long Jump. Another newcomer U20M Kola Adedoyin won Gold in the Triple Jump with a distance of 15.32m
