It appears Beagles athlete Mo Farah is intent on keeping his winning form going, only weeks after smashing the long standing British indoor 5,000m record Mo has won Britain's first gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in Paris in the 3,000m.
Mo defended his European Indoor 3,000m title with a 1.56 last 800m to win in 7:53.00. Mo's 3,000m splits were 2.52, 2.34, 2.26. Mo the defending champion had to hold off a vigorous challenge by Azerbaijan's Hayle Ibrahimov. Mo said, "It was tough, I had to work for it. I couldn't see it on the screen which was annoying. I had to dig deep and work my way through. It's all about the World Championships so its head down from now."
