Newham and Essex Beagles brought back 3 Gold Medal winners from the first day of the Essex Indoor Championships.

Jonathan Rocha came home first in the Under 17 1500m's; along with gold medal winning 60m runner Mayowa Osunsami (U13).

To cap it all off Rashid Kakoza won the Senior Men's 200m to finish a successful day for the Beagles.
