Newham and Essex Beagles Indoor 60m Sprints Series Success

The second Newham Indoor Sprint Series meeting was held at the Indoor Athletics Centre on 22nd February, and built on the success of the inaugural meeting. 100 sprinters took part in two rounds of graded 60 metres sprint races. Pleasingly, there were 20 Beagles in action, and several athletes from University of East London. Fastest Beagle on the night was Sony Bangura (7.23) with Kem Chiagorom (7.24) not far behind. Personal best performances too for Ajibola Lawal. Daniel Ezeorji, Ashley Kossa, Daniella Donkor, Moyin Oladopo, Amazeh Efejuku, Mayowa Osunsami, Mustafa Khoshal, Yemi Akinshipo and Sweetie Akindele. The final Sprint Series meeting takes place on Wednesday 7th March. Below contains information about the next event:

Featuring full electronic timing using all 8 lanes with each athlete completing 2 races over 60m - with results being populated online after.

Your first race will be seeded on your PB/SB with your second based on performance in first race.

Entry Costs: £4 online £5 on the day

Timetable: 6.30pm: Entries close for first round 7.00pm: First round of 60m U13, U15, U17 & Seniors, welcome to both Club and Non Club athletes.
