All sessions are subject to change if West Ham United play at home at the same time. Their fixtures can change at short notice with Cup matches and Sunday TV. We let our coaches and training groups know as soon as possible. But sometimes we are informed quite late.

Competition-wise the period up to Christmas is more about Cross Country and after Christmas about indoor track meetings and cross country.

Cross country is open to all age groups and genders. Our main competition is the Metropolitan
. Before Christmas there are Met League races at Welwyn Garden City on 13th November and Hillingdon on 4th December. Please let your coach know if you wish to compete.

There are some indoor meetings at Lee Valley including an Open Meeting on 5th December, and Be Fit Today Track Academy meeting on 12th December.

We have three indoor 3x60m meetings scheduled for January and February at the Newham Leisure Centre Indoor Hub - date to be confirmed.

Our AGM is scheduled for Thursday 2nd December via video call. Club members wishing to attend (via video call) must contact the Hon. General Secretary by email for the link to the meeting by Wednesday 1st December 2021.

Our Summer meetings at Stratford were very successful with 10 of the top 50 UK men’s and 8 of the top 50 women’s 100m times recorded at our meetings.

The club sends its congratulations to Jonathan Broom Edwards for winning the T64 Paralympic High Jump gold medal in Tokyo this Summer. Asha Phillip continued her distinguished career with a bronze medal in the 4x100m. Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake ran anchor leg in the Men's 4x100m which finished second (but result maybe subject to change).

The winter season has started encouragingly with a bronze medal for the Men's Cross Country team in the Southern Cross County Relays. Jacob Cann ran the fastest leg by an impressive 15 seconds to follow his strong performances at the National 6 stage road relay and the first Cross Challenge meeting in Cardiff.

We have made contact with the new athletics lead at the Bobby Moore Academy. Which finished
second in its academy group athletics championships this Summer. We look forward to continuing to work with the school.
