Welfare & Safeguarding
The welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all our members is a priority at Newham & Essex Beagles Athletics Club. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for athletes, coaches, volunteers, and parents.
If you have any concerns relating to welfare, safeguarding, or inappropriate behaviour, it is important that these are raised as soon as possible. If you are a member of the club, your first point of contact should be the club’s Secretary or Welfare Officer. They will listen to your concern, offer guidance, and advise on the appropriate next steps. All concerns will be treated seriously.
Lead Welfare Officer: Nina Hepburn
Welfare Officer: Barbara Willson
If you are unsure whether something is a welfare issue, or simply need advice, please do not hesitate to speak to one of the welfare officers. Raising concerns helps us to maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone involved with the club.
